Hi, there! I’m Katie! Thank you for coming. I am an independent hair stylist and co-owner of Salon Roosevelt in Ames, IA. I have been licensed for almost 20 years. Some of that time I was busy raising my kiddos, but I have never stopped doing hair and working on my craft! My specialties include gray hair! I love gray blending and helping people transition to embrace their natural highlights! As a curly girl, myself, I know a thing or two about embracing your natural texture and learning to love it. My goal is to help you own your beauty; to reflect on the outside the beauty from within and rock it!! What if you could learn to nourish your natural hair and where it as it was meant to be? I am currently finishing up my barber certification which is helping me really perfect my short clipper haircuts, and I am looking forward to adding more services when this certification is finished in August. Stay tuned! When not behind the chair, you can find me with my family or my amazing group of friends! My husband, Andres and I have four outgoing kids ranging in age from 24 to 7. Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours before the time of service will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 50% of the total service booked.
I require a credit card to hold your appointment. Cancellation fees will be charged to your card on file or your account. No shows will be charged 100% of the service. More than 1 no show will result in being banned from booking future appointments.
